Showing the remote controlled twistlock, the RAT™, at the TOC Europe 2008 Loxystem raised great interest among delegates, visitors as well as fellow exhibitors.

Offering a way to cut turn-around time in port as well as improving safety it’s no wonder Loxystem had busy days during the conference TOC in Amsterdam last week. Loxystems stand was busy with delegates, visitors as well as fellow exhibitors. On display was a fully operational see-through model of the RAT.

Questions regarding problems surrounding the twistlock operation today and on how vertical tandem lifts could be more efficiently implemented surfaced during the “Waterside Productivity & Quay Crane Operations” session on the second day of the conference. Svante Lundbrink from Loxystem came to the panel’s rescue several times, describing the capabilities of the remote controlled twistlock and how the problems could be solved by implementing the RAT.
